Casual's impressive second half performance sealed the points and the club now has more points after eight games this season, than they had at Christmas last season. The first half was pretty non descript as both sides struggled to gain any superiority. Molesey went the closest during this period, but Pierre Lisbie was on hand to clear off the line on 13 minutes.

With ten minutes remaining in the first half looked to have gained the upper hand as Dale Hennessey's over head kick sparked the side into life. After some sustained pressure, Casuals found themselves behind, however as a soft goal by Luke Edghill gave Molesey the lead. Edghill almost scored again moments later as Casuals pressed for an equaliser, but, the amateurs, themselves mounted a counter attack in reply and Joe Loyza's shot was saved by John Ashwood.

The half closed with Tyrone Myton's free kick being held by Ashwood. Casuals slowly gained the ascendancy in the second half and Danny Green saw his free kick tipped over on 50 minutes. The equaliser finally came on 69 minutes as a quick free kick played in Jamal Carr who got around the back of the Molesey defence and whipped in a low cross which was bundled home by Simon Mitchell. Four minutes later Matt Smith swung in a dangerous free kick which was met by Danny Green's head and Casuals were in front.

Casuals continued to be the better side and and Joe Loyza had two late chances before on 90 minutes Carr was brought down in the area by Paul Cross and the same player comfortably slotted home the penalty to secure a deserved win.
